Ferragamo’s Bohemian Resort – Salvatore Ferragamo’s resort 2013 collection was shown in Paris at the prestigious Louvre museum, yesterday. Marking the first fashion show presented in the historic setting, creative director Massimiliano Giornetti debuted an outing inspired by international destinations such as the California Coast, Mediterranean Sea and St. Barts with a collection of cool neutrals and crocheted separates. Striking a balance between boyish style and glam bohemian fashion, Giornetti offered lightweight knits, motorcycle jackets, slouchy pants and short, glittery dresses for the resort woman. Accessories included fringe embellished bags in luxe crocodile, python or nappa and a gold and white bone Art Déco butterfly necklace. The Ferragamo woman keeps it free-spirited yet thoroughly modern for the resort season.
