Normally, a model posting bikini photos to their Instagram page is a non-news making matter. However, Sara Sampaio—a model known for posing for Sports Illustrated and Victoria’s Secret—recently made an emotional response to those who criticized her for being too thin after posting a bikini picture yesterday (above) with the following caption, “Finally in a place with bikini weather…hello LA.”
With some commenters saying she is too thin, the Portuguese model responded with the following message: “I’m proud of my body and I’m not gonna let any of you bully me just because I’m skinny! Every body is different, and every metabolism is different! I eat a lot…I probably eat more burgers than you, I’ve always been skinnier, and probably will always be…” She continues, “The amount of hate I see thrown at me and to other model friends that I know are naturally skinny [is] ridiculous! U (sic) don’t see us shaming [non-skinny] bodies so please don’t come and shame ours!”
Sara then ended her words with a message of acceptance, writing, “Be happy with ur (sic) body and stop shaming others! [Whether] they are skinny, fat, fit, with big boobs, small boobs etc! Don’t share hate!”

Commenting on models weight is surely bullying, commenting on anyone’s weight is disrespectful. Every body type is good as long as it’s healthy and the way it is.
