Essential RykielSonia Rykiel’s newly named creative director Geraldo Da Conceicao won’t make his debut collection until the fall-winter 2013 shows. In the mean time, the Rykiel studio team’s work on the pre-fall 2013 collection offers contemporary essentials with signature knitwear and whimsical prints. The transitional season sees menswear inspired pieces such as the trouser, suit jacket and button-up shirt. Dresses and skirts are a-line and mid-length; consisting of wool, woven chevrons and tweed jacquards. For evening wear, the Rykiel woman dons pleated jumpers and draped gowns in black and navy. / Model: Manon Leloup

  1. I guess they spent all their money on the fabric to make the clothes and could not afford a comb. WTF… someone should have said “wait a minute, we are not shooting bedhead hair today” Luv the white jumper and red dress.
