Spring HeroineSonia Rykiel creative director April Crichton is inspired by English musician Kate Bush for the label’s spring-summer 2013 collection. Model Danielle Zinaich evokes the individuality and bohemian spirit of Bush in slick images shot by Katja Rahlwes for the new season’s catalogue. Romantic shapes with a Japanese influence come in poetic pastels such as powder pink, baby blue or Cadillac green. The Sonia Rykiel woman also embraces her masculine side with a section of smoking jackets, embroidered ties and cropped pants. Spring introduces two new handbag lines as well, The Grenelle and The Mazarine.
