At Sonia Rykiel, designer Julie de Libran made sure that for spring-summer 2016, glitter was in with a shimmering catwalk and clothing that shined in more ways than one. The Sonia Rykiel woman’s wardrobe is all in the detail and decoration this season with fringe, romantic ruffles, fur as well as open knitwear and sequin embellishments. Day wear embraces vibrant hues with yellow, red and blue while evening wear has a more subdued with black lacework and more sequins. With her third runway show for the brand, spring was one of Libran’s strongest showing yet for Rykiel.
