Earlier this month, we took a look at the Moroccanoil print advertising campaign starring Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She was tapped to promote the beauty brand’s product line of oil-infused products. The new campaign also includes the Morrocanoil #inspiredbywomen films which takes a look at influential women who help to make a difference in the world.
Here is a look at a teaser video directed by Bryce Dallas Howard that shows six inspiring women including the British model who names women that inspire herself. Also featured in the film series are Kavita Shukla, Chrissy Beckles, Jessica O. Matthews, Allyson Ahlstrom and Rebecca Welsh. Shukla is a 29 year-old entrepreneur who came up with the idea of FreshPaper which is used to help revolutionize food storage. Her products keep fruits and vegetables fresh 2 to 4 times longer organically than other food storage methods. Kavita’s goal is to get the product to 1 billion people who do not have access to refrigeration.
Another woman featured in the project is Rebecca Welsh, whose HALO Foundation works with children who face hardship. The originization helps them by giving them the supplies and support they need to help them get a better life. The at risk youth talk about how HALO has changed their lives.
Chrissy Beckles is also included in the project and she is known for starting The Sato Project which helps abused and neglected dogs. Chrissy was inspired to help after visiting Puerto Rico and seeing many neglected dogs on what is known on “Dead Dog Beach”. She even quit her well-paying consulting job to start rescuing full time after the experience.
