For her spring-summer 2016 collection, Stella McCartney presented a showing of bold colors and graphic prints that are the epitome of “effortless style”. Opening with the polo shirt, McCartney mixed plaid and striped patterns for an energizing effect. Layering asymmetrical cut tops and tunics with slouchy pants and roomy skirts, the relaxed silhouette dominates much of the season. Towards the second half of the collection, McCartney eased off of the color for black, white and neutral palette that riffed off the suit jacket with sleeveless and elongated proportions. Prints came back full force with swirl decorations, sometimes over sheer styles for a feminine look.
