Carine Roitfeld

Carine Roitfeld is a French stylist. Roitfeld had her start as a model. She later worked as a writer and stylist at Elle France in the late 1970s. She is most famous for being the editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris from 2001 to January 2011. In 2012, she founded CR Fashion Book, a bi-annual magazine which she also works as editor-in-chief for. That same year, Carine Roitfeld was named the Global Fashion Director of Harper’s Bazaar. A documentary called Mademoiselle C was released in 2013, showing the launch of CR Fashion Book. Since 2015, Roitfeld has collaborated with Japanese fashion brand Uniqlo on a clothing collaboration. Roitfeld has worked on fashion campaigns for brands including Tom Ford, Chanel, Saint Laurent and Gucci.
