Japanese jeweler Tasaki is marking a significant milestone, its 70th anniversary, in style. To celebrate, the company has unveiled its sleek new Balance series, starring none other than modeling icon Gemma Ward.

Thakoon Panichgul designed the Balance collection, which was first launched in 2010. Zoe Ghertner photographed Gemma in three striking images showcasing the Balance Palace, Balance Build, and Balance Plus jewelry pieces.
The understated yet sophisticated designs perfectly complement the Australian model’s effortless elegance. So, what inspired this striking collection? The answer lies in balance balls, which have influenced the minimalist and modern aesthetic.
Pearls are set in a straight line, creating a sense of harmony and poise. With 34 designs to choose from, the Balance series impresses with Akoya pearls for several pieces. An accompanying film shows Gemma and the designs in motion set to calming, classical music.
