Swing, Swing – Willy Vanderperre (Management Artists) captures the essence of childhood with a disorderly undercurrent for the fall-winter issue of LOVE Magazine. Taking on the playful stylings of Olivier Rizzo, models Tati Cotliar, Querelle Jansen, Guerrino Saint Ulliano and Colinne Michaelis haunt the playground in rouge cheeks and lips.
If this didn’t credit him, there’s no way I’d have thought this was by Willy Vanderperre. Â
i konow, right?

Oh look, zombies on the playground.

I like the idea but not the makeup
When I first saw the editorial in LOVE, I was very captivated by it. The approach of childhood innocence in an abandon playground with dramatic makeup and retro-like styling make it, somehow, very melancholy and interesting.

I think this is weird for weirds sake…there really wasn’t anything poetic or funny or beautiful (except for the makeup)..
It’s different! I will give him that…(that’s saying something, I guess)

It is just not working although it has all the perfect elements. Some nice poses might have worked, the zombie thing is boring.
