The August 2015 issue of Teen Vogue taps rising stars Imaan Hammam, Aya Jones and Lineisy Montero as three faces to watch. All three are black models who have landed campaigns and catwalk spots for major brands including Givenchy, Prada and Celine. The trio poses for Daniel Jackson in a joint cover as well as three individual ones.
“I always thought models would be jealous and focused on trying to be more beautiful than the next one. But what I’ve seen more of is girls becoming friends, giving each other tips,” Imaan tells the magazine. “One time I forgot my heels, and a girl said, ‘You can take mine; what size are you?’ That was so sweet and so important.”
