Valentino Resort – For the label’s resort 2014 collection, Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli created a collection of luxe ease with a mix of elegant day wear and ethereal nighttime looks. The first section of the resort line is more casual featuring military inspired trousers and capes that come in monotone shades of cream, navy and powder pink. Later prints are introduced in the form of nautical stripes and tropical florals for the Valentino woman’s day out on a yacht. Skirts are paired with simple shirts while evening wear is full of dreamy pastel floor-length dresses embroidered with delicate detailing.
