Valentino’s Demure CoutureValentino under designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Picciol has found its own voice throughout the years and spring 2012 haute couture is no exception with a collection of demure romanticism. This season showcased florals, lace, and crystal embellished bodices, all made with the utmost attention to detail. Like many shows this haute couture season, the color palette was light–showcasing silvers, powdery blue and rosy pink for a feminine touch.

  1. Bring back Mr Valentino, I hate that they have lost the essence of the label. Just re-watched Valentino: the last Emperor, and very sad to see there is no more of the luxury and glam and elegance the Valentino name evoked. No one can say Valentino designs clothes for real women anymore, because now the label designs for teenage girls on a nanny trip. 🙁

  2. I don’t see Valentino anywhere in this collection is so sad to see the label dissolve in to a sad mix of vintage grandmas quilts and teenage girls tryng to be fasshionistas. Please bring back the sexy elegance ,powerful femininity of the Valentino women, my most love designer of all times the one how inspire me to become a designer my self.
