The Vera Wang woman has always been multifaceted and with the designer’s fall-winter 2016 collection, that statement rings true once again. Exploring hard and soft styles, Wang opened with a number of black and white looks including corset style tops (like an ensemble worn by Kendall Jenner) and long skirts featuring high slits to the side. The designer also focused on menswear inspired suiting, lengthening jackets for bi-color coats or loosening the waist for the oversized factor.
These tomboy looks were soon broken up by more ethereal looks. Sheer and breezy slip dresses were paired over slim-fit trousers as were robe style jackets that reached the floor. Fur made am appearance on the runway, multi-colored and voluminous with no companion pieces necessary. For her finale, Wang sent out four sheer slip dresses decorated with blocked sequins for modesty.
one of my fave shows!
