How would you feel switching your life somebody else’s? Spending time with someone else’s friends, doing their favorite hobbies and even living in their home? The latest project from Timberland called, “Life Swaps”, takes four European creatives from major cities and has them swap lives with one another for a weekend. That means that Barcelona furniture designer Marc Morro and writer Sam Smith take each other’s places while the same apples to Milan-based photographer Claudia Zala and Berlin musician Willy Iffland.
Through it all, the creatives wear looks from Timberland’s fall-winter 2014 collection which helps get them through whatever situation they are put into. That can mean going fishing in London, eating Barcelona chefs’ delicious meals, visiting a rooftop bar in Berlin or even seeing the architectural treasures at the Malpensa airport in Italy. How the project works; is that the creatives will go into another person’s home, find a list of to-do items and then have to live that person’s lives for the duration of their trip. It is all about discovering new things and exploring the city and partaking in the absent host’s favorite hobbies along with their friends.
