Daydreaming – Nicole Richie’s Winter Kate collection blends Richie’s trademark boho chic with an innocent, Lolita-esque feel and far eastern influence. Her garments evoke a sense of dreamy childhood nostalgia, referring to flowers, magic and fairies. For her fall collection, Richie was inspired by memories of watching her mother dress in feminine and sexy clothing in an innocent and demure way. Also finding inspiration in style icons of the late 60s and early 70s such as Penelope Tree, Peggy Moffit, and Edie Sedgwick–Nicole Richie pairs her mod and minimalist pieces with kimonos and bed jackets creating a collection of casual, youthful elegance.
