The fall 2011 showing for Blumarine featured a distinct lack of prints–a staple the label has become known for over the past few seasons–and instead featured a more minimal approach with mod inspired silhouettes in one tone hues ranging from stark black to canary yellow. As the show progressed, the garments became more seductive with pieces of lace. The turn to the bedroom seemed fitting, considering Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel made an appearance on the runway with her opening and closing of the show.
