Falling into the role of a modern day Florence Ballard, Chanel Iman evokes her inner 60s goddess for the summer edition of The Block. Lensed by Doug Inglish with styling by James Worthington Demolet, the American beauty poses in gravity defying shoes from Noritaka Tatehana and laughs in Viktor & Rolf’s signature tulle dress amidst a garden of delights.

I very much got to like Chanel Iman! She's gorgeous and unpretentious. The Billy Holiday look in the third pic is so nice!

I don't really like the styling everywhere, but Chanel is such a beauty!

I have to agree the styling is a little all over the place. The consistency here is in the hair and make-up. Those pink heel-less boots feel completely incongruous. Beautifully shot though. And Chanel is gorgeous, I wish she were around more.

I don't think it is about the clothes so much here but instead the model… also the styling is very cohesive it all reads as modern diva with 60's flare which each look has. Note full skirts, fringe, sheen/sequins, headband, open knit, fur, stiff high collar and excessive tulle all details of the era…

Thank god for that second last picture, because otherwise I would have remained totally unimpressed by Chanel.

I think this longer editorial is better than what I saw before.
