Edita Vilkeviciute by Nathaniel Goldberg for Vogue Nippon June 2010

They say you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of the girl. And that old adage seems to ring true with Edita Vilkeviciute‘s most recent work for Vogue Nippon, where she gets up close and personal with farm animals all from the comfort of a well-furnished salon. Captured by Nathaniel Goldberg and styled by Ludivine Poiblanc, Edita is the very image of refined elegance as she wears garments from Gucci, Giorgio Armani and Fendi and others in Wild Country.

  1. Personally, I quite like the purple. I think it goes very well with the shoot, "spiffing it up" a bit without being too strong. A typical mistake would be to use a (much) stronger shade of purple which would completely destroy the make up.

  9. The posture of the model in all shots is terrible. What is wrong with her neck. Why doesn't she use it to hold her head UP rather than jutting awkwardly forward.

  11. Oh Oh oh Edita does not look healthy in this shoot. She looks too skinny…. what a shame she is usually so sexy.
