Prada Pops – Undoubtedly one of the most talked about campaigns in this season, Prada goes for a more youthful approach with its fall 2011 advertisements starring Frida Gustavsson, Kelly Mittendorf, Julia Zimmer, Ondria Hardin and Antonia Wesseloh. Photographed by Steven Meisel in bright outerwear, girlish heels and swimwear style caps, the girls lounge in a throwback, color blocked setting.

    • That would be the complete opposite of the design, feel & idea Steve Meisel was undoubtedly going for in this shoot.

      • you mean the opposite of what miuccia was going for…. she is the one who likes the models to all be white and appear lifeless. and she def. succeeded here

  1. I like it, mostly because of the color palette and for the fact that I probably love this collection too much to not like these at least a little bit.

  3. but on another note the campaign is definetly doing its job. I am looking at some of these images thinking “wow i’ve got to have those,” especially the black/leopard wedges

  8. It’s a great photographic work from Meisel, but i have to agree in the fact all models are white, plain and kinda lost. I love Frida and its disappointing she doesnt stand out at all.
Some flavor for Prada, dont you think? Last season, with the dark haired girls and crazy dancing was fabulous.
