Saint Laurent Resort – Hedi Slimane enlists Sasha Pivovarova for Saint Laurent’s resort 2014 lookbook. Photographed by the creative director, Sasha impresses in black and white images featuring the new collection. This season we see a lot of leather, sheer and sequin materials balanced out with slim-cut jackets and pants. Resort juxtaposes the hard and soft with Grecian inspired cuts in hard leather. Handbags range from clutches to shoulder style with an attention to metalwork. See more (NSFW-ish) images from the collection on our Tumblr.

  1. She looks starved and ill and they’ve done her makeup to emphasize that. It’s not chic. Bring attractive women back in fashion please.

      • Know her personally? No. Do you?
She still looks ill, whether she is or not, and she does in most of her campaigns. I don’t care if most gay men in the fashion industry want women to look like they just came out of Auschwitz, it looks ridiculous for the rest of us. It’s not fashion forward, it’s getting old.
Candice Swanepoel is thin too, but she’s the picture of health compared to this girl. Heroin chic is 90s, we’re over it.

        • I think it’s very offensive of you to be using terms like that on people in general. Auschwitz was a tragedy and you shouldn’t be using it to bash women’s appearance who do not fit your criteria of “beauty and health”. This is high fashion and apparently it’s not for everyone. I’m so sick of reading comments like yours on every fashion post or video on the internet. If you do not like it, then go look at some Victoria’s Secret or Target catalogues and leave Sasha, who also happends to be one of the best and healthiest models in the industry, or whatever other model who’s just doing her job alone.

      • My comments were in regards to the images. The styling and choice of model has a significant negative effect on the campaign. I suppose any comment that isn’t wholeheartedly embracing should be silenced.

        • Your original comment mentioned the model’s weight/appearance. It’s against policy, plain and simple. Say you don’t like the images but a model’s weight is off limits. Discussions like that are almost never productive. There are many negative comments on this site, so it’s not about silencing your opinion.
